Founded in 1978, Universal Industrial Sales, Inc. was created with one purpose in mind: to become one of the premier manufacturers of Guardrail, Bridge Rail and Sign Structures in the country. Since that time UIS has grown to over 200,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities on more than 40 acres.

Located in Lindon, Utah and with over one hundred employees, Universal's dedication to provide excellent service, superb quality, competitive prices and consistent on-time delivery, remains unmatched in the industry.

In 1997 Universal Industrial Sales opened its new 100,000 square foot fabricating shop, further expanding manufacturing capacities, adding new product lines and growing to meet and serve their customer’s needs.

The UIS product line includes an assortment of highway products including Steel Bridge Railing, Pedestrian Railing, Handrail, Bicycle Rail, Guardrail, Delineators, Ground Mounted Signs and Overhead Sign Structures just to name a few. They have three roll form lines used for making Thrie Beam and W Beam Guardrail.

Universal is also an AISC certified shop for Simple Steel Bridges and is qualified under the Caltrans Welded Steel for Overhead Sign Structures Audit.

UIS covers the United States including Alaska and Hawaii – as well as parts of Western Canada and Mexico.
